Use Music to Reduce
Stress

Learn to Listen and
Appreciate Music more.
Music is a great way to
reduce stress. It can help you both psychologically and
physically to relax. Have you ever been in a bad mood and
turned on the radio then found yourself singing along? If you
have, you understand how great music is at making you feel
good. Using music to reduce stress is very effective.
The best music to listen to for relaxation is
slow and easy listening. Because it has a calming effect, it
can reduce stress or even help you to sleep. You can find some
excellent relaxation CDs online that are made just for reducing
stress. There are also CDs with nature sounds, which can be
very relaxing. When you listen to nature sounds, you can close
your eyes and imagine that you are there. This is a great
technique for calming your nerves.
Another way to use music
to reduce stress is to turn on your favorite music and dance around
the room. You can do it by yourself or if you have children,
you can all get really silly and do some fun dance movements.
After while you will find yourself laughing like crazy and you will
feel better in no time.
You can also play music and light
some aromatherapy candles then climb into a nice warm bubble bath to
relieve stress. When you are lying in the bathtub with all the
lights off and just the flicker of a few candles, this is a good
time to do some light meditating.
You can use music to reduce
stress even while you are working by simply using an earplug.
A nice medley of piano music could help you get through your workday
easier with the added benefit of not having to listen to everyone
else in the office. You could just go into your own little
world listening to your music and getting your work done so you can
ignore the office politics going on around you.
Take time
every day to listen to music. Even if you do not have any
extra time, you can always listen to it in your car on your way to
work and home. Turn on quiet soothing music every night when
you are trying to go to sleep to help keep other thoughts out of
your mind and help you to relax and drift off to sleep easier.
Using music to reduce stress is very effective and can calm your
nerves any time by just putting in a CD or turning on the
radio. What could be easier than that?
Why do
we suggest you to learn music?
While it is essential to take some time off
listening to music for relaxation or other means, it is noticeable
that people who learn and actually get involve in
playing music are ten times more happy and healthier in
their lives compared to those who didn't. Applying that to panic
attacks patients, playing music can actually make your life more
meaningful, additionally it creates a healthy activity for you to
cultivate a habit of engaging into this positive stream of tones
created by you. Simply said, the music you play is your own
antidote.
Whether you are playing a
musical instrument or just singing in the shower, either music
can perform the same feeling, (We do suggest instrument like guitar,
piano, drums, violin, and karaoke is also acceptable) and
even rock metal music won't give you any panic
attacks. Believe it. It is very different from listening to
music. Here is why:
Because the music you create is
formed by you and your senses, which means you are expressing out
your inner feelings. (It can be any feelings, e.g. worries,
fears, and so on). The point here is, you perform music to
release these feelings out and this itself will give
you a physical and mental relief. Remember we did say
before about physical release?
Now, aside from
that, being able to play music is also
a form of communication. It is
like the your voice or the sound you make
is your listener and you as the speaker. Whenever a person
finishes his/her piece of music, it is undeniable
that he/she will feel as if there was an accomplishment to be
proud of, especially when everything was made by your
effort.
Another thing about playing music is, it diverts your
attention to the strings, notes and chords instead of getting into
something else which provokes more attacks. Truthfully, nothing is
more easy to concentrate than the notes you hit on
your piano or the chords you strum on your
guitar. With the ability to focus onto something positive like
this (music), it will be much easier for you to
accomplish other things like focusing your priorities
and manage your dominant thoughts well. And the best part is,
music is inspiration.
Start with an
easy, inexpensive instrument
Of course,
nothing is easy. But with the right attitude and practice,
you will be there quicker than you think. You can start
with any instrument of your choice, however if you ran out of clue

ability, as talent is learned, not born. You only live
life once, acquiring a music skill can lead you many miracles to
come, believe it. Take some time to enquire some

learn in the course, make sure it is the kind of genre you
like.
